Topic: books
This blog started out about cycling, mainly, but I guess I can flex a bit.
If you are a blogger or a blogophile (probably illegal in some states; too enjoyable), you should pick up a copy of Naked Conversations by Robert Scoble and Shel Israel. While the subtitle says it's about the way businesses talk with customers, it's as much about how those business people write personal blogs.
Another good read is The Reluctant Tuscan by Phil Doran. On one hand, one could lump it to Under the Tuscan Sun, but Doran is more of a reluctant convert to the Tuscan way of life. The book is written skillfully, with love and wit and a sometimes sharp tongue. I laugh out loud every few pages. Phil, if you read this, thank you! I'll be in Italy in a couple of days, and you've been whetting my appetite for cosi italiani. I'm off to the the Gran Fondo Campagnolo.
