friday, dec. 29, morning
Topic: cycling

235 weight this morning. Need to do a little sweat time today.

Yesterday was spent on home projects with good results. I need to continue that project today.

The Paragon has come home! I rode gravel with MG and PH on Wednesday during midday. A little breezy it was, but not a biting cold. I was having a hard time keeping up (what a surprise!) on the concrete. However, when we hit the gravel...well, I still had trouble climbing, but man, the 29er can sail down a hill. I stuck my nose into the loose stuff just to see what would happen. Piece of cake! I still have to play with the seat placement, but things fall in pretty good now. It's definitely a different riding position from that of the Zinn, but it's good, very good.

Got a few wheel building tools for Christmas. I have a Park truing stand and base on order. I also ordered copies of Gerd Schraner's wheel build book and also Josh Brandt's. Maybe I'll have everything together when I build the Delgado/high flange combo.

Time to git on the git go.
